St Cyril’s Rehabilitation Unit, on the grounds of the Countess of Chester Hospital, is our state of the art neurorehabilitation facility providing specialist accommodation and rehabilitation facilities for most acute and long-term neurological conditions. We also provide a number of specialist rehabilitation programmes and continuing care provision. The unit houses 20 beds, and two pre community bungalows ensuring a smooth transition into the community. Also within the unit is a highly equipped physiotherapy gym, occupational and conventional therapy suites, a hydrotherapy pool and a beautiful sensory garden.
Our Acquired Brain Injury service is based at St Mary’s Hospital in Warrington, for male patients with acquired or degenerative brain injuries within medium secure, low secure and locked rehabilitation settings. The facility also contains an onsite gym, IT suite, crafts and artwork areas, a woodwork shop, a horticultural facility and a café which are both used and run by the patients. St Mary’s Hospital is also home to our Adult Autism Inpatient Service.
